With technology always on the move, we're working to bring the best and brightest to everyone. The Maxwell works with Alexa and smart home devices, but it needs to be connected to a smart plug to work that way. If you do not already have one, you will need to purchase one separately. Once you have the Maxwell set up and the plug connected to your smart home device, you leave the lamp in the on position and let the technology do the rest.

When you purchase the Maxwell, you get everything you need for assembly. All necessary hardware, nuts bolts, caps, clips, etc are included, so that you don't have to go running around for them yourself, though some reviewers mention preferring to use a screwdriver to finish tightening everything in place. We've also included a 9.5 watt power saving LED bulb. It has a natural 3000 Kelvin color temperature with 800 Lumens and the bulb will last for years before it needs to be replaced.

The Maxwell weighs about 12 pounds. It is lightweight and very easy to put together. It measures 63 inches tall, and the shelves are approximately 10 x 10 inches wide. The height between each shelf is about 15 inches. The lamp is operated easily with the built-in pull chain switch. This lamp works only with 110v outlets but is safe to use in 220v outlets with a 220v-110v voltage converter.
