The GE Motion-Boost Coverlite LED Night Light is designed to provide a soft glow while covering unsightly outlets. This LED night light is engineered to fully conceal two outlets when one is not in use, although it can be positioned to maintain the second outlet accessible (light sensing may not function correctly when used this way). It features light sensing technology that automatically turns the night light on at dusk, and when motion is detected, it automatically brightens to 40 lumens.

Motion Select technology allows you to save money and energy. You can choose between Motion-Boost or Motion-Activated using the switch located on the back of the night light.

Motion-Activated mode: Detected motion activates the 40-lumen night light up to 25 feet away in low light conditions, and the light turns off automatically after 90 seconds of no motion.

Motion-Boost mode: The night light automatically turns on at dusk at a low 3 lumens, boosts to 40 lumens when motion is detected from up to 25 feet away, and automatically dims back to 3 lumens after 90 seconds of no motion.

The Dusk-to-Dawn Sensor feature ensures the LED night light automatically turns on at 3 lumens at dusk and turns off at dawn, but only when in the Motion-Boost setting.
